About a month away from our anniversary and I am working on surprising my hubby with ...well something
my idea was drop off our infant with my brother/sis in law - for overnight -
head down to casino (about 2 1/2 hours from home) - spend the night - have a nice dinner - check out, have lunch, pick up kiddo and head home next day
the wrinkle - it would be a weekday - bro agreed to watch kiddo overnight the weekend before ( I assumed DH would not want to take off work - but in conversation he mentioned he would rather take 2 vacation days and not celebrate early) so now I am stumped
brother lives about 2 hours away (on way to casino) - we don't really have anyone we trust locally to leave daughter with overnight (it will be our first time leaving her...overprotective new parents, etc)
so any other ideas for great anniversary day trip or activity - assuming brother and his wife can't keep the baby during the work week
