I want to get my DD10 tickets for Taylor Swift in Pitts. I have a pre release code so I am hopeful we can get great seats.

But I don't know what good seats are! Okay, i have a very embarassing confession. I have only been to two concerts my entire life. One was at an outside venue and we had lawn seats. The other was american idol through work, we had amazing seats, 2nd row. As a child growing up concerts were forbidden.

I have a friend that wants to take her DD also but said no floor seats as she heard you can't see. I explained i went to AI and had the best seats ever but she said if we get floor seats she would pass. Honestly, this is for my DD's bday so if floor is best my friend can get her own tickets. Not being nasty but we do a lot of things with this friend and she always dictates plans. Her DD is not a huge fan of TS but is interested in going.

But since this is at a football stadium I think other seats would be really far away. I can't see getting seats on the sides like 50 yard line. I'd be looking sideways all night.

Not to sound snobby but price is not going to determine our seats. My DD loves Taylor Swift and I save pennies in many areas of my own life so I'm getting her the best tickets we can get! DH is fully supportive of this as well. The concert is a couple days before her bday.

So please give me advise on which tickets! This is at Heinz Field in June.

I can't help you with seating as I am from MN. I got tickets to see Taylor Swift with my DD when she was here last year (Before that it was Hannah Montana). So, both big names. I was able to get presale tickets for both. I was on one computer and my friend was on hers to see what we could get - both times I ended up with tickets but she did not and we both went online the same time.

So, I guess what I am saying is that you most likely will not get to choose your seats - if you get tickets at all you will be lucky. Both of these concerts were sold out in minutes. So, if you get seats you don't like and decide to try for other seats - you may not get any. Just an FYI..

Depending on where you get seats, the floor might not be bad, but it can end up being hard to see. We were moved down to the floor at a concert there one time and it was kind of chaotic there. No one was really staying in their seats so we wound up heading towards the front of the stage and basically were front row, but without seats. It was crowded and if you moved for a second someone took your spot. It was awesome to be so close, though! If you're back further and stay in your seats because they're all on one level it can be extremely hard for short people to see the stage and sometimes even the screen because everyone stands up.

I have sat on the far end in the bleacher seats and they were fine. Mostly I look at the screen anyway and it's so huge, it makes no difference. I have also sat on the sides and because most people stand for the shows, I just turned my whole body instead of just my head and had no problems.

Depending on how old your daughter is, you might want to rethink floor seats, just because it can get a little hectic down there once the concert actually starts.

Here's a picture from when we were down in the front...you can kind of see what I mean about everyone being jumbled together and not being able to see over heads:

And here's a view from one of the side sections, but up higher:

THIS ^^^

We'll be trying for those same tickets. Take what you can get. Her concerts have been selling out in minutes once they open to the general public.

We had floor seats at Bieber last month. They were AMAZING seats! We ended up in the center, aisle seats, 10 rows back. DD9 had no trouble seeing. It worked out perfectly.

When we saw Hannah/Miley a year or two ago, we had floor seats half way back & in the middle. DD couldnt really see much but still loved it!

I agree, you probably need to take what you can get. Ticket brokers seem to get all the seats these days and jack the prices up so high. Even with the pre-codes, it's tough getting decent seats at a popular show.

Personally, I wouldn't take floor seats unless I knew I'd be within maybe 10 rows of the stage. Anything else, I'd rather be on the side. They have the big monitors so you can see what's going on down on the stage, so that's a big plus.

I was just wondering what you ended up getting. I looked this up because i bought Taylor Swift tickets for my dd's birthday as well, she will be 8. i got floor seat (f7, row 6) and also just heard that she may not be able to see. i was thinking about buying other tickets and selling the ones I got. any advice??

I am taking my DD10 to this concert. I just bought tickets today after searching for days for the best seats. I have a presale code and couldn't find any seats in the lower level sides toward the end with the stage (I preferred these because I heard about the issue with being able to see) Anyway, I decided to try ebay and found section F3 row 39, seats 3 & 4. I'm hoping the lower number seats are closets to the stage. I figure if they are, we will have pretty good seats. Does anyone know how the seat numbers work? will seat 3 be closest to the stage or further away in that section?
