Need Advice

I am looking for advice on good locations to take parade photos. A spot with good background (not just people) on the other side of the "street" or any other good ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking at the map, I am not sure what corner you are referring to. Is there a restaurant or attraction?

The parade turns the corner from Liberty Square into Frontierland. It is right by the walkway that leads to the HM and Fantasyland. The little X-mas shop is right there. I like it because they normally slow down a little to make that turn. It makes it easier to get the shot. I suggest that you take a few minutes in the morning to walk the route to find your favorite spot. Be sure to arrive early to your spot. You might even want to pick an alternate spot in case yours is already taken.

If the parade is going from Frontierland to the main gate, get a spot on the sidewalk at the hub where it goes off to Tomorrowland. You can get parade shots with the castle in the background. Here's my DS16's band performing in the rain back in December:

Here's a tip for the parade at Animal Kingdom.

On the Keys to the Kingdom tour (highly recommended!), our guide recommended the bridge between the hub and Liberty Square as a good place to watch the parade - it's usually pretty empty and you can see the parade go over the other bridge.

The bridge in question is fairly new and not on some older online maps. It is on this map - the one near the smoking area, not the one next to Sleepy Hollow (which is the parade route.)

We didn't try it, and it's far enough away that it might not be ideal for photographs, but it's a thought - you might even have the castle in the background, and definitely wouldn't have people.
