Our next trip we are going to Epcot and Animal Kingdom. We have never been to either place. I am looking for some suggestions on where to eat lunch and dinner at Epcot and Animal Kingdom

TIA!

:) Yak and Yeti was OK, we actualy prefer Rain Forrest near the front of AK park.

EPCOT is a toss up. Le Cellier if you want a steak, Coral Reef for seafood. San Angel in Mexico has a nice dark ambiance but some find it too dark. There is also a corny boat ride but of course you have to do that once. If you want more of a rip roaring good time with drinks for all, I would do Biergarten. We went for the first time in December. I am not a sausage eater and thought I would be just taking one for the time, but to my surprise the food was very good. DH did not care for sitting with strangers (which is customary there), but we had a nice time and the show if very cute and gets you in the mood. Chefs in France is a busy elegant dinner with Remy. I LOVE the baguettes there. There is also a nice Bistro upstairs that I think is a bit more quiet. If you are going to Epcot the end of Sept-Nov, be prepared for F&W and make your ADRs tonight.

thanks for those reviews ToddyLu. We aren't going until next June.

There will be 7 of us in our party. Four adults and three children.

Personally I think I would love the biergarten at epcot. I would also love to try Chefs in France.

The kids would probably love Rain Forest in AK.

Not sure if you're looking for counterservices or table services so I will you both :)

Animal Kingdom:
Tusker House (lunch or dinner)
Pizzafari (counterservice, lunch or dinner is delish!)

Epcot:

*so many choices!!*

Lunch:
Sunshine Seasons (inside where Soarin' is...counterservice)

Biergarten is delish! Not sure how it would be with kids tho since it is buffet style (i.e. kids carrying their own plates, etc.) I don't have children so maybe this isnt an issue!

Chefs de France for dinner because you can get the prefixed meals (i.e. appetizer, entree and dessert even on the standard DDP). The only thing is that Remy (the rat from ratatouille) doesnt come out after 5pm I believe. If thats important to you.

Le Cellier for lunch or dinner (keep in mind that its 2 credits for dinner) either way its delish!

Enjoy!!

AK

TS: Yak and Yeti
CS: Flame Tree Barbecue

Epcot

TS: Les Chefs De France, Le Celier, The Garden Grill, Via Napoli
CS: SUNSHINE SEASONS! It has almost anything you want.

I vote for Coral Reef for dinner at Epcot....it's a restaurant that centers around the giant aquarium. When we told my dd5 we were going back to WDW, the first thing she wanted to do was eat here! The fish in the tank were absolutely amazing, we also saw a huge turtle, a shark, etc. The kids menu was a guide, where kids could locate the different animals in the tank. It kept my daughter entertained the entire meal! It was awesome! Our meals and service were very good too (we both had steak).

Epcot is a wonderful place...you will enjoy it!!!!!!

We also ate at Yak and Yeti while at AK. It was very good....reminded us of the PF changs chain if you like that. We are going back this trip.

Happy planning!!!

As you have kids for EPCOT I highly recommend the Garden Grill, the characters are brilliant as is the food, for a counter service my family always pick up fish and chips from the UK pavilion.

For AK we always have lunch as the Flame Tree BBQ and love the food, i haven't tried the Yak and Yeti myself but friends have said both the counter service and table service and raved about both.
