We're talking about an 18-year old who's still in high school, right? I see no reason to change any rules just because she had a milestone birthday. Whatever your rules have been up until this point, I'd say keep them intact 'til graduation.
And your husband isn't doing you any favors by "throwing you under the bus" and making you the bad guy here.
