Need advice re: changing Kona reservation

Okay, I know this may sound stupid but....

I tried for an O'hana reservation every day..... Sometimes 3 times a day, then I decided to make reservations @ Kona for the exact time I wanted at O'hana's... But I am not sure if I did the right thing... Everyone wanted to try the dessert... Yeah I know, really crazy, but that was my selling point to have them try something new...

Should I continue call or are the desserts just as yummy at Kona...??

We love both restaurants. I'd keep Kona, but if you're really dying to go to 'Ohana, keep calling and then if you get in, you can always cancel the Kona ones. That said, Kona's desserts are really phenomenal. Really.

Kona is AWESOME......and the desserts are heavenly . If Ohana is somewhere you REALLY want to go, then I agree with the pp to keep trying.....you never know when something might become available . But if you keep Kona, you will NOT be disappointed .

I agree that both restaurants are great. You already have the ADR at Kona so your covered for dinner. Keep trying for O'hana. If you don't get it, your dinner will still be great.

Kona has delish desserts...they make these FABULOUS macadamia 'lace' cookies...I like them SOOO well that my sweetheart buys me extra to take home. This time I'm getting a dozen!

Two different atmosphere's. However, Kona is hands down ten times better.

Okay I think that I will keep the Kona ADR and bribe someone going into Ohana's to sneak me out a dessert, then I am covered. I think that since Kona is getting such great reviews I will keep it and go for Ohana next visit..
