Hi!

DD and I are off to WDW during the free dining period at the end of August. We made all of our ADRS at the 180 day amrk. Then my ds, her dh, and dd decided to join us on our vacation. I was able to change all of my ADRs except one. (for some I book a party of two and a party of three with no garuntee that we will sit together but we will eat at the same time LOL!!)

Our ADR for Chef Mickey's is what is giving me the problem. Orginally I had planned to meet up with a friend and her son (who are ending thier vacation the day after ours starts) so I had made an ADR for two adults and two kids. Now she can not go so I thought it would be fun for my ds family to join us. Depsite calling several times a day for the past few weeks I am not able to add another person to my ADR nor am I able to make another reservation.

Should we just wing it? Will we not be seated because we have an extra person?

This is dds favorite place so I would really like to have it work out. If it comes down to it I can always tell my ds that I could not add her on - however in a perect world I would like for all of us to eat together since it is our first night and my friend and her son can not make it!

Myself I would just wing it.

I tried for reservations at Chef Mickeys one year for 5 of us and could not get any at all. On a whim we went anyway and we were seated within 20 minutes.

:thumbsup2 Go for it ~ we are definately Wingers, possibly even 2nd or 3rd generation Wingers! However we are always humble & thankful for any help! Enjoy Chef Mickey's!

i'd wing it too... it's unlikely that they will turn you away...

two years ago we were desperate to go to CMs and we could only get 8pm reservations, but we wanted to see the 9pm spectro... so we took a ride on the monorail and were at CMs when it opened at 5pm and told them we had later ADRs could we possibly squeeze in earlier (we were thinking we'd do a tour of the monorail hotels if we had to wait) and they were more than happy to seat us immediately! so my experience is that it doesn't hurt to ask! :)
