Need advice on which park

Hi all.

I need to decide between Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom for the day after a late DAH (1:00AM and we will stay and play till the end ).

Which one do you think would be better for a late start to the day, likely 10AM? It will be presidents week so I expect crowds everywhere. We will only have one day at each of these parks and have never seen Galaxy's Edge or Pandora yet and want to experience both.

In terms of FP+ this 'late day' will be my 60+3 but the one we don't do on 'late day' will end up being my 60+1.

I'm at a loss as to which one to do, will appreciate any and all advice.

Our Itinerary so far:
Feb 15 Arrival day, arriving late - no park
Feb 16 Either HS or AK
Feb 17 DAH at MK (expecting 1AM end time as it's president's day) - no other parks prior to
Feb 18 Either HS or AK with a late start

Since the current FP situation at HS is awful, I would plan on AK where I could still get three decent fast passes for later in the day. Less need to rope drop anything major.

I have never felt that either Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studio need a full day but if I were you, I would wait to see how your FP+ booking goes and play it by ear based on whether you can get your DHS or AK FP+ for your 2/16 or 2/18 days. Really, you can build your itinerary around what is available and that would dictate your trip. President's day week is busy but nothing out of control. We love that time of year and are thinking of a trip around that time too.

Would need to adjust dining plans after 60would days though which leaves me a little stressed but might be worth it

I agree. Also, AK has a lot more to enjoy if crowds are rough (i.e. animal trails and two shows).

Another vote for AK. There are more things to do there and FPs are much easier to get other than FoP.
HS, the tiered FP makes things more difficult until you use all 3 FPs. Then the additional tier 1 are not too bad to get except SDD.

I also vote for AK in this case. RD is more imperative at HS, at least for now - the FP situation for the Star Wars rides could change at any time, but I'd say if you're getting a late start, you're going to have a harder time navigating HS as it currently stands.

If you do AK at 60+3, you have a decent chance to get a FOP FP, and even if you don't, you can get in line towards the end of the night to ride it.
