Our trip is Nov 3-8 (me, DD, 2 DGDs 7+11). Which character breakfast, or lunch, would you recommend? The girls like all of the characters and would be happy with any. Which restaurant has the best atmosphere and food?

as far as Breakfast...my absolute fave is Donald's Breakfastasaurus (sp.?) the food is great and the atmosphere is fun...also, you can make PS for really early before the park opens and you get escorted through.
Lunch...I love the Crystal Palace...Pooh and Friends circulate several times throughout the meal and the food is good...they also have a very nice childrens buffet set up...
Dinner...Chef Mickeys is a classic...fun, colorful, good food, a lot of characters...but if you have a girly girl...I think 1900 Park Fare has a Cinderella Gang dinner...I'm not sure about that one though...
The latest Disney Magazine had a whole article devoted to the buffets of WDW...you should check it out

The Crystal Palace is the best character meal on property!! The food and service is excellent!!!

If you have never done it - you should try Chef Mickey's. It is a must do. But to me the best Character Breakfast was Donald's Breakfastastasaurus! You cant really find Donald that much!

Crystal Palace is really good too!

For Dinner - Libterty Tree Tavern is good! Great interaction and a good Family Style Menu! You might want to look at that too.

You just can't beat dining in the castle for CRT especially since everyone is a girl. I think this is great for all ages.

We ALWAYS:earsgirl:  go to the Garden Grill at Epcot. Most times we go around 2 or 3 oclock and it' s not crowded at all and we don't have to do the ps. The girls ALWAYS LOVE the chacters (mickey, minnie, chip and dale, pluto) we see and they spend alot of time with them and even come around another time. The food is also GREAT!!! Best in the WDW resort to us. The strawberry shortcake they have is to die for!!!!

We did the Cinderella breakfast last year. It was neat to see the inside of the castle and to me the breakfast was pretty good. It seemed a little small and cramped and expensive but I'm trying to get in this year just so hubby and my older daughter haven't been there. Me and my younger daughter ate there when we went to see the older one in the WDW parade in band.

On our last trip we did the Ohana Breakfast, Garden Grill dinner, Cinderella at Park Fare dinner, and Crystal Palace dinner Character Meals.

My kids were 8, 6, 4, & 3. 3 boys 1 girl.

They LOVED Garden Grill! :sunny: The characters were in such abundance we couldn't eat!! It was wonderful.

Ohana was SOO much fun!! They got up and did a conga line, danced, etc.

Crystal Palace was nice, but VERY Crowded! The characters only came by our table once, and piglet never did. But, the kids did love the food.

Cinderella Park Fare was nice, but their least favorite.
