Can someone explain how fireworks work there? Are they every night? Are they in all parks or does it vary by night? And if it varies, how can I find out where and when to find them? What time do they take place? Any good viewing spots to recommend?

We'll be there Friday 11/10 - Tuesday 11/14

Thanks!

Click the above link for the OFFICIAL WDW Calendar.
Then:

1. Pick your Park.
2. Pick your Month.
3. CLICK ON the DATE on which you want the info.

Disney publishes dates and times approximately 6 months in advance.
Make sure to check back often, as times and events are subject to change as the actual dates get nearer.

For EMH, click on the WORDS > "Extra Magic Hours" < on the official calendar.
Or click HERE:

Another WDW INFO link:

Again, remember to check back often as your trip approaches.
AND also check DURING your trip, just in case there are last-minute changes.

There are three nighttime shows that include fireworks at WDW:

1. Wishes at Magic Kingdom

2. IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth at Epcot

3. Fantasmic at Disney Studios

As described in the last post, check the park schedules to find out what the showtimes are. They vary according to the season, and according to park hours.

I believe Wishes is the only one of the three that's predominantly fireworks. Haven't seen it myself yet, so I don't know what else they have in the way of effects.

IllumiNations is a light/laser/water/fire effects show on the World Showcase lagoon, that has some fireworks at the beginning and end.

Fantasmic is more of a 'show'. You're seated in an amphitheatre, and watch Mickey do battle with various villains. The show also includes light effects, water screens, etc. There's a boat full of characters at the end, and I believe the fireworks are also at the end.

All three are well worth seeing.
