I am thinking of having a table at our cities' annual arts and craft festival.
What is the going rate for a tote bag with a picture on it? How much would YOU pay for a tote bag?
I'm trying to figure out if it's tote bags I want to make or decorative pillows. Of course the tote bags would be less work!
I see where Avery makes transfer sheets for ink jet prints and they're fabric! I would print my photo out and apply to a readymade tote. With the pillows, I would have to get a pillow form and sew a cover or I could make a bunch of 8 x 10s and matte & frame them. Of course I'm trying to do whichever one will be the least expensive to make so my profit will be more!
The picture I am going to use for these items is one I took of the gazebo in our city, surrounded by cherry blossoms. I gave permission for the Kiwanis in our city to use it on the banners that hang around downtown. The banners just went up this week and will be up all Spring-Summer. The craft show is in July. I'm thinking, with all the notority I should use it to make a little money.
So, which would you rather have? A tote, a pillow, or a framed 8 x 10?
