We've rented points from another dis'er for 7 nts. for a studio at VWL late Jan. - early Feb (it will be my DH, DS (age 7) and myself). [BTW, we've got the brochures on DVC but want to actually experience staying in one before considering buying.]
My DH is prone to migraines, so we really want a quiet studio...though we love looking out at Bay Lake, too (have stayed at WL twice). I figured a dedicated studio would be quieter and seem more private. After printing out the map linked here for the lay-out of the villas, I realized that there are actually very few dedicated studios and, if I don't want ground floor or dumpster view, there're only like 3 per floor (and one of those is across from the trash receptacle).
Does anyone have any suggestions or opinions? Would we be better off in a lock-off with a Bay Lake/woodsview? I know it's first-come, first-served with room assignments, but I could at least put in a request. (we'll be checking in around 3).
Thanks very much in advance! These boards have enabled our family to have 2 terrific WDW vacations already and I'm hoping for a 3rd success!
