Need advice on MK to AK transportation.

I need opinions. This is my families first trip to WDW, I have been but never as the planner. Due to a short schedule, we are eating at Crystal Palace for breakfast one day at 8:05. After Breakfast, we are going to head to Animal Kingdom. We will have our own car to drive. Can someone give me the fastest route from MK to AK using our own car. Also, how long would this take and realistically what time would we get in AK to make my FP reservations.

I would not schedule any AK FPs until 10:00a at the very earliest. As for the route, not many more than 2 ways to go. Easiest is probably exit MK lot (really TTC) on World Drive, then exit right (west) to Osceola Parkway and take it until you see AK on the right. Not tough at all, just follow the signs.

And you really don't need FPs before then anyway.

Google maps shows 2 routes one being 15 and that is along world park way and the other being 20 min
So figure an hour to eat then the walk back to the car I'm sure the longer route would be a bit faster because of traffic it's over several roads it would be easier for you to look at it yourself and not the main road

Don't forget to allow for the time it takes to get to the TTC, either by monorail or ferry.
