I found the perfect flight after searching every airlines around here. We will be flying out Sept. 5th. Right now the price would be 260.00 each round trip for 3 of us. I was hoping for it to go lower. I have already checked Airtran, SW and a bunch. The others have lower fares but does not have us arriving at MCO until after 2:00pm or leaving way to early in the morning.
I know it's getting close to Sept . Should we wait to see if Delta goes down any or go ahead and buy them ? Anyone have alot of experience with Delta prices? I know if we wait to late they most likely will be higher.

I would go for it. I doubt they will come down much and could go up.

Have you thought about booking one way tickets using different carriers? Maybe you can get flight times that would work better for you.

I would be thrilled to find airfare RT for $260. I'm looking to book President's Week next February and I can't find anything lower than $400 RT.:scared1:

:) $230-$270 for Delta flights to MCO from our local airport--I would purchase for $260. Our SW non stop flight from MSY (New Orleans) to MCO was $616 total round (2 adults) including EBCI. So I would go for it. SW has been the same for several weeks now with only one sale and the occasional price hike for a day or two.

Airlines tend to start getting nervous 6-8 weeks before flight date & the best fares tend to be found at that time. Since you are within that window you may want to book it.

Good for you. I don't think it's a bad fare at all. I usually check the seats on a plane before I make up my mind. I feel if there's just a few seats left, and the fare is okay, I'll book it.

I would book it and then stop looking at fares.

I agree.

But you have to stop looking, if you're booking with an airline that doesn't give you credit if the price drops. Otherwise you're just torturing yourself. If I book with Alaska, SW, JB...I'm going to continue to look, because I know they give credit. Anyone else, unless I've booked a ticket that cost much more than the change-fee is, I don't look anymore.

Ok I made the reservations :)

Yay! Now don't look any further. :)
