We will be visiting epcot Thursday September 17. We will be splitting the day up, taking a break in the middle for nap and Senses spa for me. I originally was just going to do Futureworld with the kids starting at rope drop 9am. I originally wanted to do:
9am Sunshine seasons for breakfast (quick grab n go)
9:15am Test Track with FP
-Finding Nemo and Friends
- Sea Base
10:00am Spaceship Earth
-Ellen's Energy Ride
-Innoventions West or East
11:30am head back to hotel for lunch/swim/nap/spa

But now we really want to do Mexico market and boat ride with the kids and Japan but just for the Pokemon shop (our kids love pokemon). So I thought we could change it to:

9am Sunshine seasons for breakfast (quick grab n go)
9:15am Finding Nemo and Friends
-Sea Base
10:00am Test Track with FP
-World Showcases; take boat across for Japan and then back for Mexico.
11:30 Spaceship Earth with FP
Noon leave for hotel

Is it realistic that we could get Nemo, Sea base, test track, japan and mexico, and spaceship earth done before noon on a very low crowd recommended day (1-2 level)?
My DH and I will be coming back around 5pm just ourselves to do the rest of the showcases (we have babysitting).

World Showcase does not open until 11:00 a.m. I don't think you can do what you want in WS and be back at Spaceship Earth at 11:30. How old are your kids? Do they like characters? My DD has always absolutely loved World Showcase. She loved it as a preschooler with the characters and entertainers etc., but now that she is older, she absolutely loves the Agent P missions throughout World Showcase. Do you have other EPCOT days planned, or is this it for your kids? We go out to DLR too, and when we do the only thing she complains about missing from WDW is EPCOT.

Not enough time to get World Showcase and back (doing all you want to do there) between Test Track and Epcot. I would stick with your original plan and then go to World Showcase another point in the trip.

Just read that you are coming back with your husband later. Why don't you stick with original plan, and then your DH can take kids to Mexico and Japan while you go to the spa? Then they can come back for naps later? Maybe even skip Ellen's Energy adventure for time saving purposes. (I can't stand that ride :teeth:)

I love Sunshine Seasons, but 9:00 is a valuable time to be taken up with breakfast. I would eat breakfast before hitting the park, or do a later breakfast, when some of the lines have gotten longer. Unless there's a reason not to, I would also do Soarin at rope drop.

I wouldn't venture over to World Showcase and hope to be back by 11:30. As others have said, it doesn't open till 11:00, and it's a long way there and back.

We don't venture over to WS until we're done with FW. Otherwise, there's a lot of unnecessary steps, and we really try to save steps at WDW.

Ok I messed up my showcase opening time, oops. I will have to look at this again. Thanks for the advice.

Agree with PP - if you have limited time in the park, you might want to ditch buying (or eating) breakfast at the park. (Eat in the room or while waiting for rope drop - buy muffins, power bars, etc night before.) Total time suck when you can either do standby with shorter wait else fp with lower wait (tt and soarin, for example, are much faster to get through even with fp first thing in the morning). Do nemo last - it loads quickly compared to tt et al.

I'd do rope drop Soarin standby; maybe nemo standby (and aquarium if really important but you probably have an aquarium at home); 9am character spot fp if any goofy Mickey or Minnie fans; 10am TT fp; Mexico (walk from TT); Japan; boat to future world; then nemo if you didn't have time before character spot fp expired at 10am; then spaceship earth fp.

You can easily sb character spot on a low crowd day, but there is usually a good wait by 11am. It's a better use of fp than nemo if your kids like the characters there. One line to wait in for three characters. Donald meets in Mexico with rarely any wait FYI.

I was at the parks on crowd level 1 days in mid January this year. There were still plenty of people for the headliners, including TT and soarin.

Epcot has always been a full day park, Future World in itself will take you at least half a day to knock down all the attractions you would like to visit and still have the opportunity to eat breakfast without feeling rushed and enjoying the lands and its surroundings. World Showcase (WC) does not open until 11:00am and will take just as much time if not longer than Future World due to the sheer size of WC and all the offerings, pavilions, attractions, sightseeing, and walking time from one end to the other factored in, not to mention any ADRs you may want to arrange for Lunch/Dinner. Most Epcot guests start their day at Future World and gradually migrate towards WC for the second part of the day ending the day with Illuminations at 9pm which I highly recommend staying for.

Why are you trying to squeeze everything into the morning??

Honestly, reading your plan made me frustrated and tired. Not being trying to be rude, just sharing! It felt like a lot of wasted time and criss-crossing. I agree with others in that I don't think it makes much sense to do breakfast immediately after RD. If you are set on an in-park breakfast at Sunshine Seasons, here's what I'd do:

FP+ reservations for Soarin'(9:30-10:30), Nemo (10:30-11:30), and Spaceship Earth (11:30-12:30)

9:00- Test Track at rope drop
9:30- breakfast at Sunshine Seasons
10:00- Soarin' w/FP+
10:30-11:00- Innoventions
11:00-11:30- Nemo ride w/FP+ and Seas main tank
11:30-12:00- Spaceship Earth w/FP+
Exit park

Could also swap Nemo and Innoventions. No point in trying to hit World Showcase if you're going to leave at noon. Hope you have a wonderful trip!
