Need Advice on an Add-on

We are thinking about adding on 100 points, but are unsure which resort to add on to. We own 262 points at VWL. We are a family of 5. Right now we are able to stay in a 1 bedroom or studio since our youngest is under 3, but eventually we will need a 2 bedroom. We think we would like to vacation at HH also. Our dilemma is whether we should keep all our points at VWL since it will take more than the 262 points we have to stay a week in a 2 BDR, or do a 100 point add on at HH which we'll end up having to bank or borrow at the 11 month window to have enough points to stay 5 nights (summer would be 165 pts in a 2 BDR). Would we have any chance of getting a 2 BDR at HH at 7 months in the summer? How about Easter week?

Also, how much are the dues for HH?

Maybe I can answer some of your questions. Buy where you will stay and use the 11 month window. HHI is difficult in the summer, as Doc would know better than me, but BUY where you will stay. I am thinking of an add on at HHI, and maybe 83 points might do it. Here is the math- 83*2=166. That is enough for you to go to HHI every OTHER year for a 2 bed room. You could back or borrow, then every OTHER year, bank you points at WLV, and you would have 525 points there- just every other year.
The dues at HHI are 3.32 per point, and currently,they are buying back each point you buy at $10 per point, if you think that is a good deal, might save on down payment.... Good luck, and HHI is beautiful, went there last year... Good luck in your decision....
