Need Advice - MYW vs. 4 day park hoppers

I'm trying to figure out if it's more cost effective to hurry up at buy the 4 day park hoppers or just wait and buy the MYW 4 day passes with the park hopper option. It looks like it's about $50 more to do the MYW.

Any thoughts? We have 2 adults and 2 children going the end of March - but my older DS is 14 so he's considered an adult. Younger DS is 8.

It looks as though buying the 4 day hopper, in advance, is definitely the way to go for your family. It's when you get into longer trips that MYW tickets can really work for you. I'd jump on it and buy the 4 day PHs now.

Do you expect to go back again in the future? If so, it might be worth buying a longer MYW pass and save the unused days for the next trip. That's what we will do - buy a 10-day MYW and use 5 days one trip and 5 days the next trip. Doing that will save us over $550.

We're not planning on going back in the next year or so. So I didn't think it would be worth it to buy extra days. Course there is always the chance that I could convince DH that we need to do another WDW trip!

We were in nearly the same boat. Going end of March '05, 2 adults, 2 children (ours are 7 year old twins). This is our first trip with the kids, want to hop parks, 4 days needed, didn't care about expiration or plus features, no future trip planned.

Ran the numbers and concluded that old tickets best for us. Cheapest 4-day park hoppers are those offered from Hotwire, which are actually PHP's (so free plus and no expiration to boot). Joined last week and tickets arrived effortlessly a few days later. Very pleased.
