I want to use this image:

tardis-outside.jpg

for the front panel of a Nook Color sleeve/bag for my daughter. Should I print this out on white transfer paper and then iron it on to the blue material that I plan to use for the rest of the bag. Or should I iron it on to white material since I plan for the design to take up the whole space?? Not sure which would make the colors appear better??

Thanks for any advice.

Maggie

I would suggest getting Amy Mickey's transfer paper as it lasts better than all the other brands that I have tried. Print onto the transfer paper and trim off any excess white around the image. Then iron it directly onto the fabric you plan on using to make the bag.

Thank you for the advice. I think I know which transfer paper you mean. Is it the kind for dark fabric?

I remember seeing a thread about it. I will go search.

It is designed for dark fabric but I used on all my Ts (even white) for my last trip.
