Hi, I'm so excited that we were able to get an ADR for Cali Grill. This will be our first visit to the Restaurant, so I only know what I learned from the DIS.

We have (DW, DD (3) and me) a reservation for dinner at 9.35 PM. That night wishes is scheduled for 10 pm. So we're planning on viewing the show from the Restaurant.

Now here's where I need your help. Please tell me:

- How can I get a table by the window overlooking MK?

- In case I don't, can we go out to the observation deck at any time during our meal?

- Please name your favourite dishes.

- Are there any special recommendations you could give us to maximize our visit?

One last favor. Those with pictures with view of the fireworks from Cali Grill and want to share, will be very welcome.

Thanks in advance to everyone!!!

We have always gotten a table by the window by asking, you may have to wait a little longer but at 9:35 all the people that got there at 9:00 ill probably stay to see fireworks. In the case of not getting the table by the window most servers will hold ur food if you have not gotten it yet and you can go to the observation deck to watch.(awesome view). My only recomendation is to ask for Taz, he is the best server and order the pork tenderloin. The pork is so tender the best I have ever had. Have fun, wish I coulda gone this time.

Yeah--you just have to ask and hope for the best. And you can go out to see the fireworks anytime during your meal. The servers are WELL used to that at the California Grill
A second vote for that pork. And any one of their flatbreads is also an excellent choice.

At that time, people sitting by the window aren't going to give up their tables. You can absolutely go out to the observation deck at any time and like someone mentioned, the waitstaff is really used to it. My favorites are any of Yoshi's sushis (esp the tuna three way). We were just there last month and they had an amazing goat cheese and mushroom risotto on the menu and the ostrich special was fantastic. Many of the dishes are being experimented with at the moment as the new chef finds his feet.
