Need advice for trip planned on Week of Feb 15 Mardi gras presidents week!

Hi ,

I had to book our vacation for 2015 on the dreadedly busy week of Presidents/mardi gras week. I know it will be crowded. I have our dining ressies all booked and we are staying at Pop for the first time with my parents. I was wondering if it is bad the whole entire week or just the very beginning?? if it is, do you have any suggestions on which park to visit on which days to avoid crazy crowds? Help! lol

We went every year during Presidents week for years until our oldest started college. Then she wasn't off so we wouldn't go without her. I actually love that week over the summer. It is crowded but for us better than the heat. Two years ago was the last time that we went in February and Fantasyland was bad - really bad. But that is because it was new. We usually go Sunday to Saturday so we are not there most of the first weekend. Tuesday of that week it does get better.

It is crowded that week but not insane. It will get better after Monday. We always get to do everything we want, while in the summer we couldn't because of the insane heat.

We did great with MK and HS EMH. We could do rides over and over again. What is great during that week is that the parks are open late for night owls which we are. One year MK was opened until 3am.

Great thank you! I am so happy to hear this because I was really scared! We went in Feb 2011 and it was not crowded at all except on Valentines's day and we had a wonderful time!

Friday of that week will be busy also...our local schools here (Osceola County) always have off that Friday instead of Presidents Day.

We have been during this week many times and have loved it. We definitely plan out our days and utilize the extra magic hours. It's great that you already have your ADRs booked. Have a great trip

I'm going this weekend too, but hitting the parks Sunday and Monday. I'm hoping most people will be gone by Monday afternoon - that may be wishful thinking.
