If my flight is at 12:20, should I

A. Rent a car. Cheaper than disney transp. & gives us some flexibility, but may be a little hassle with pick up and drop off.

B. Use Disney transfer. I should mention that we're renting a car on our way down to the port, so this would be a one way Disney transfer.

C. Get a limo. Which is cheaper than Disney transfer and easier than the rental car, but would get us to the airport with quite a bit of time.

Appreciate all your expert opinions!!!

My vote would be to use a car service, have them pick you up around 8:30 or so at the port and since it is an hour drive that will be 9:30. If there are alot of people coming off of cruise ships that day then the airport will be loaded up and it might take you awhile to get through security and such. I hate worrying about if I will make my flight or not and would rather take some stuff to entertain the kids for a few hours at the airport rather than risk not making it at all but then I am the ultimate worrier. I dont know the very latest you can get off the ship but if it is 9:00 then you figure at least 10 before you get to the airport, check in if it is 30 min that's 10:30 then you have less than 2 hours to screw around since they usually start boarding the plane about 30 min or so before the flight leaves!

Just my opinion!

Both the limo and the DCL transfer will get you back to MCO earlier than renting a car. We stayed on the ship until just about the last possible moment and took the DCL bus. I think we arrived at the airport around 10:00am. Personally, I don't think I would go through the hassle of renting a car just to go back to the airport. Plus, I don't think there is anywhere to rent a car at the port.

If cost is the factor... I'd vote for the limo.

Thanks. I was leaning towards the limo service.

I've seen posts from people that Happy Limo is good. Are there any others that you'd recommend?

We used yourride.net when we went in November and they were the cheapest we could find for what we wanted to do and when we wanted to do it. I would go to the transportation board and get some insight there and then do some price comparison.
