need advice for booking during F&G 2011

We usually travel to WDW during the month of January and have already reserved our villa but am thinking about changing the reservation in order to attend the International Flower and Garden Festival in 2011. We've never been to the world during one of the festivals and would love to see the gardens in full bloom. Would it be better to make my reservations toward the beginning of the festival or toward the end. The dates for the 2011 festival is from March 2nd till May 15th. I'm hoping to be there when the flowers are in full bloom.

Easter is late next year - April 24. I would avoid the weeks around that. Early March can be iffy weather. I personally would go with mid to late March or early May.

As long as you avoid the Easter Break - maybe early May?? We went way back to the F&G show and it was in May, perfect time - EPCOT looks fantastic.

We were just at WDW and was there for the opening of the Epcot F&G. In 2009 we were there in late March and early April. The flowers are more in bloom in early April. Everything looks so much more full and colorful. They still looked nice in early March but not as beautiful as in early April.

I would agree with the above poster that the weather should be nicer in late March and early April. Also you will have the chance to be there without the crowds around Easter (for a change) during this period.

Now I have to convince my DH to make the trip in early April. He usually likes to take a winter trip to get away from our weather here in Maryland, but the last couple of years it's been colder weather in Florida as well.
