Need Advice - Emporium Specials

Question for you long time VMKers. I know some of the items on "special" and Emporium and other stores don't last long (ie - pirates stuff, special pins, etc).

What about the items not related to the month's theme? Do you have to buy things like turnstiles, random number generators, space teleporters, etc soon before they become rare and hard to get?

Most of the items that aren't the flavor of the month, have been out since the dawn of vmk, so no worries about not getting them

If they should disappear, they have been out so long it will not be difficult to acquire them cheaply.

Yeah. but if you see anything you may want, you should probably get it just because we never know when they will retire things.

As stated above, the "usual stuff" would probably be easy to find; however, this is not always the case.

The classic VMK example of this: The Enchanted Tiki Room 3/9 Pin. It was 20 credits. One day - whoosh - gone. Now, it is a very difficult pin to trade for and goes for quite a lot. Why? Very few people have multiples.

So, if you have to have it, and it's there now, my advice would be buy a few now... just in case.

Unless you don't buy any and VMK takes them away like they have done in the past. I try to get at least a few of all the buyables in the game.

Another example is the tiki's they had... or the Haunted Tree or Malificent's throne. One day here, next day they are gone. I would try to acquire what you want when you can because you never know when they go a way.
