Need Advice about points...??????!!!!!Thanks!!!!!!!!!

Ok, I'm actually posting this for my mother. She has fourteen points for 06 that she needs to use by Nov. they will not be going. What should she do with these points. I doubt renting them this late in the game is an option.. Any other thoughts??

She does have a ressie made for a 2-bedroom with us in Oct. and when she made the ressie member services did not use these 06 points first so now she is stuck with them. She called today and asked for her points to be reallocated and they told her no it was to late to do that. They said she would loose them or needed to transfer them...Any suggestions???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If the points are banked from 06, they cannot be transferred. Banked points cannot be transferred.

Would it be possible to use them to extend your trip for a night? I know availability could be a problem, though.

I think the reason MS said it was too late to reallocate, was that it wouldn't matter since your mother is past her banking deadline. Even if MS reallocated the points and freed up the current use year points, it would be too late to bank them. It sounds like your mother has a December use year and the banking deadline for December use years is the end of July.

If you can't extend your trip, the only other opton for those points is to use them to make a reservation for something and rent the reservation.
