We are a group of 7 (4 adults, 3 kids) coming to LA/Anaheim in November. We want to do the Warner Bros. studio tour on a Saturday. Do we need to buy our tickets in advance (ie - do the tours typically sell out)? Or are we okay to purchase onsite day-of, so we can be a bit more flexible with our plans.

Thanks!

I think it depends on when you're coming. If it's close to the holiday I would buy tickets in advance. You can look at their website to see if there's still availability for any given day/time to judge demand.

The issue also is the size of your group. I believe each tour only has a capacity of 15-18 people, so there might be <7 tickets available day-of for any one tour. I don't know if I'd chance it if it's high on your list.
