I need to get my ADR's finalized and can't decide which ones to cancel. When I booked my ADR's, I was able to get a dinner ADR at Le Cellier at 7:15on a day I had originally planned to be at Epcot. However, that day is now going to be spent at DHS. We have park hoppers so that isn't an issue. My problem is that we will be at DHS from RD to about 4 or so with a short break at the Poly then off to dinner. My kids are pretty young (4, 2, and 2) so it will be a long day for them if I keep the ressie. I tried to get a dinner ADR at Le Cell for my Epcot day but could only get lunch - they have no dinner openings left the entire week I'm there. I went ahead and booked the lunch for my Epcot day and booked Narcoossee's for dinner on my DHS day - was able to get an early dinner time. However, I really wanted to have dinner at Le Cellier not lunch so I haven't cancelled the dinner ADR yet. So my question is: should I give up on dinner at Le Cellier and just keep the lunch or should I try to rework my DHS day so that we have a longer break and hope the kids can make it through a late dinner. Will I notice a major difference in the menu between lunch/dinner?

We've done lunch and dinner at LeCellier and we enjoy both. The menu is different, but there are some of the same items. Truthfully, with kids your ages, I don't think you will need to be at the Studios from rope drop until 4:00 p.m. My DH and I only spend about a half day at the Studios, and it was our kids least favorite park. To me it just doesn't seem with teh age of your children that you'll need that much time. I'd keep the LeCellier dinner and leave the Studios by 2:00 and go back to your resort for a rest.

I'd go with what you think your kids can handle. My 2 yr old could never handle a 7:15 dinner, but maybe yours can, especially if they have a long break mid-day. Every time I have eaten at Le Cellier, we've always had to wait 20-30 min to be seated, so if that happens to you, your dinner will be even later. Not trying to discourage you, just something to keep in mind. Good luck with your decision. :goodvibes

I would keep Le Cellier dinner (impossible to get) and perhaps just leave a bit earlier from DHS to give your kids a longer rest period.

I agree with the PP who said you may wait 15-30 minutes past your ADR time to be seated. That will make it even later for you. I would only keep an ADR that late with children your ages if I was sure they would have a decent (long) nap. Le Cellier with tired, cranky children will not be fun or relaxing.
Good Luck

I don't have any advice for you about the late hour for dinner for your kids - you'll have to go with how well you know your kids. But my kids didn't find that much to do at DHS to keep us there until 4pm. You may be in a similar situation. My kids (7 & 5) weren't tall enough for RnR or ToT. They didn't care for Indiana Jones and didn't want to see many shows. We were done at DHS by 1pm. You might want to consider how many attractions at DHS your kids will be interested in - it's possible you won't be there until 4pm. It just depends - something to consider.
