We have no pets and no small children if that makes a difference. Just a normal house with normal stuff.

We just bought the Electrolux Intensity and I couldn't be happier!! We have hardwood, pergo and some large area rugs and this vacuum has one of those features that lets you switch from carpet to bare floors, but unlike other vacuums that do that, this one actually works. The rugs range from deep pile to a braided, so we know it works well on carpet as well. We got our at Lowes. Oh an the handle folds up and down so it's super easy to store and the cord is wrapped up at the push of a button. I love the little things sometimes!
