Need a vacation from my vacation!

We just got back from our WDW vacation late last night. Left sunny FL for snowy MI. Yuck! We had a great time overall. But boy am I tired! We left the day after Thanksgiving which I'll never do again. It was too tiring decorating, cleaning, and then cooking for over 20 people while trying to pack and be prepared for the trip.

It was the first time we drove there which DH said he won't do again. We left about 6:00 p.m. on the Friday after Thanksgiving and due to the snow we didn't reach our first stop (Fort Wayne, Indiana) until about 1:00 a.m.!! From there we stopped in TN and got to WDW Sun. night.

From there the whole week was go, go , go. DH is not the huge Disney fan I am so I knew I had to cram as much as I could into those 6 days as I could, because who knows when we'll go back. In addition to all the Disney stuff we also did the Dixie Stampede and Gatorland. It was our first MVMCP on the 29th too. We all had a great time, especially the kids.

Now I need to do my all Christmas decorating. I haven't even put up my tree yet. Or done my Christmas cards. The extended family Christmas party will be here so I need to start planning that. And my DS's b-day is in a week from tomorrow. Lots to do. No rest for the wicked.

I need a vacation...........

Oh I hear ya! My last vacation--my first in two years--was "extended" by 4 days due to Wilma. I definitely need another vacation still.
