Need a strap for eyeglasses? If so, strap recommendations please!

Which rides, if any, would it be necessary to wear a strap for eyeglasses? My younger ds does not like wearing the strap but I do not want to risk losing his glasses. Maybe we should just get them tightened before we go? Any recommendations for a good strap that is not too bothersome?

I've work glasses since I was 6, and never have I lost a pair, let alone on a amusement park ride. I've also never worn a strap on them. I was at USO/ IOA last month and went on every roller coaster and larger ride.

I think they will be fine alone. The same gravitational forces that keep you in the ride keep the glasses on your head.

If they are super loose, you could take them back to where he got them and have them tighten them up a bit. They should do that for free.

I bought a thin cord with loops on the end at the $ store, last minute. I switched back and forth between sunglasses and regular. I wasn't taking chances with brand new glasses that cost several hundred $ (even if the cord was $ for each one, they worked great)

I like Croakies, but they can be bulky.

the chances are good that your glasses would stay on without a strap, but for a couple bucks, the peace of mind was worth it. I never thought twice during Dueling Dragons or Mummy.
