I was put on punch duty for a baby shower next week. I am not a good person to be assigned this as I have NO idea what to make. The shower is for the coworkers of the person it is for, planned for an hour or so right after work, the baby is a girl, and it is in a school so no "spiking of the punch!"

Any easy recipes you can suggest??

Karen

There are two that I've made that I really like:

Sprite with dollops of rainbow sherbet

or

Sprite, a bottle of cranberry juice, and an ice ring with strawberries frozen in it.

Both very simple and very tasty.

I like the second one!! So, how do I make the ice ring.....

Yeah, I am NOT the gal to do punch!

what I did was put strawberries in a bundt pan and fill it about 1/2 way with water and froze it. I just washed the strawberries, didn't even cut the leaves off. It was pretty!

Sounds easy enough! Thanks

My easy version is a bottle of fruit punch, a bottle of sprite, a container of rainbow sherbert. If I am in the mood to be fancy, I will dump in a bag of frozen strawberries.

Is that easy enough? lol

Here is my famous punch:
2 cans pineapple juice,
1 can cream of coconut,
about 4 cups of either peach nectar or apricot nectar (I prefer peach and if I can't find it, I sometimes leave it out.
Mix all well and freeze.

Take out of freezer, thaw a bit to get it out of the container and into the punch bowl. Add 7-up, sprite, whichever.

YUMMY!

That's what I like!!! So simple I can't mes it up..lol

If you do the cranberry juice/Sprite one, make the ice ring out of cranberry juice so the punch doesn't dilute as the ice ring melts.

And put blackberries in the ice ring instead of strawberries so they show through the cranberry juice.

Rainbow sherbet with ginger ale makes a great punch. Of course champagne added to that is even better.:) Add some frozen berries too.

This one is a bit more involved, but not much-and it is really good:

1 can frozen lemonade
1 can frozen limeade
1 bottle ginger ale
1 can pineapple juice
1 container of sherbert

mix and serve

If I really want to get fancy I do the ice ring with whatever fruit.

Our family punch recipe goes as follows:

One bottle of hawaiian punch (the red one)
One bottle of ginger ale
one half gallon of orange juice
a box/tub of frozen strawberries (the kind with the syrup)
a tub of orange sherbet

Put it all in the punch bowl and serve.

Here's my "go to" punch. It is always a hit (and so easy):

2 bottles of cherry 7-Up (or at X-Mas--pomegrante 7-Up)
Rasberry Sherbert

Mix it together and drink!

Only 3 items needed for a great tasting punch and it's *pink* for a girl. :thumbsup2

strawberry ice cream
pineapple juice
sprite

Place the ice cream in a punch bowl and pour the liquids over it. Allow it to melt as the party goes on. Looks really pretty! :goodvibes

1 can frozen lemonade
1 can frozen limeade
1 bottle ginger ale
1 can pineapple juice
1 container of sherbert

I do a slightly simpler variation on the above:

1 2-liter bottle of ginger ale
1 lg. can frozen lemonade concentrate
1 lg. can frozen orange juice concentrate
1 lg. can pineapple juice
+ a splash of grenadine syrup for color if you want it to be pink

This recipe works best with plain water ice, NOT frozen juice ice. It needs a bit of dilution from the water.

(The "spiked" version of the above substitutes a bottle of champagne for the ginger ale.)

I personally dislike punch with sherbet in it at adult events; it's too sweet and rather cloying.

My fave is sherbet punch, mixed to taste.
any flavor sherbet-let soften
2-liter gingerale
pineapple juice

Super easy, again mixed to taste.
1 jug red hawaiian punch
2-liter Sprite or 7-up

I love this one, but it's not pink:

1 gallon of orange juice
1 large can of pineapple juice
1 packet of Kool Aid Lemonade
Water to taste (It makes it a little strong, so you add water to weaken it)

It's a favorite in our fam.

The most easy recipe is your choice of sherbert (slightly softened) put into a punch bowl. Pour your choice of Sprite, 7Up, Ginger Ale or Sierra Mist to fill bowl.

Voila!
