Need a roomie for DIS-A-Palooza

A few of us girls were talking in chat last night about going to DIS-A-Palooza alone (minus the DH) and maybe combining our DVC points to get a nice place to stay. If you don't have DVC, I'm sure something could be worked out.

So Shelly, Nicole, Brandie, or anyone else.....

I'm heading down solo as of now (12/10-12/13). I've got a studio booked at SSR. I am open for doing something with my peeps!

I'll join. I have DVC points. Just so you all know all the DVC rooms have partitions.

I've got a studio booked at BCV from Dec 10-14.

So far, nobody has laid claim on the sofa bed.

Wow - I see some major parties happening.

Val & I are at BCV in a 1BR then.

Well, the last time I was in a studio connected to a 1 BR at BCV, I ended up connected with SamSam and her DH! They went to the same Jiko Wine Dinner I went to....and we sat next to each other at the table!

We had so much fun, that after we got back "home", we opened the connecting door and chatted and drank MORE wine for another hour or so.

So if for some reason I'm connected to you, we can have a party.

Oh, and someone already wants squatter's rights to my sofa bed.

I'm kind of new here, but I was thinking about going to Dis-a-Palooza (definitely solo as DH isn't a big Disney fan). I am a DVC member and just a little bit

Seriously, I am a non smoker Dis fanatic who often solos to WDW and has a ball making temporary friends in queues or restaurants. It would be nice however, to spend some quality time with fellow fanatics.

Well, DH has pretty much put the kabosh on both cruises next year

I'm already heading to Florida 3 times over the next 4 months. Not sure if I can talk him into this again, but I am really going to try. If so, I would love to share a room with someone. Stayed offsite for MF last year and I won't do that again. I don't have DVC, but am willing to rent, if necessary. I do have an AP that will still be valid and can use that for a room discount, though.

He is not a big Disney fan. I am lucky to get him to go once every 5 years!

I am still working on him for DAP but it is not looking good!

I just got a pin for free dining in Dec!!

What is a Gal to do? I requested a quote from Dreams for the POP 12/10 - 12/15.

Will I feel funny going solo? I too may be on the room mate hunt!
