need a roll in shower chair

Staying at Poly in November (room with roll in shower). My question is - can I request a roll in shower chair? Or do I need to rent one? If so, any tips on who to call to make those arrangements. I asked the booking agent but she was not very knowledgeable and didn't even know that they had bed rails on premise for use. My teenager is non-ambulatory and recently had a spinal fusion so lifting him and transferring to the fold down shower bench is going to be difficult.

They have only very basic shower benches available at the resort, so you will need to rent from off-site.

CARE Medical is a full service medical supply provider and you would be able to get anything you need from them.
Thy have several rolling shower chairs available to choose from. Depending on your child's needs and size, one may work better than the others.

Yes, go ahead.

The bath benches the resorts have for loan are the real basic benches with or without a back (the kind you can find in Home Depot).
I always suggest people check the tightness of the screws before using the bath bench - we have borrowed the bath benches a couple of times and found them to be very loose.

we've used Care medical a few times.
Theyre great and the products are in great condition and look like new.
The shower chair is usually waiting in our room when we arrive, when we leave we get bell services to pick up the chair for us.

I wanted to mention that the reason we only rented a shower chair once had nothing to do with the service.
The Rehab shower chair just did not work out well for our DD.
