...in our down-time. It's been awhile so maybe there're some new non-park(and by 'park' I mean the main four) things to do that I don't know about?(within the resort complex)

Here's what I remember:

Downtown Disney and PI, DQ, Cirque
Dinners at the various resorts
Dinner shows (HDD, Luau...any others, I'm drawing a blank)
Water Mice
Golf/Mini-golf
Water Parks

Can't seem to remember anything else...would love to hear any new suggestions! :Pinkbounc

Nothing new I can think of but, I didn't see you mention the Boardwalk. It is our favorite place so add that the list of a great non park thing to do. There's more things going on there at night. You have restaurants, strolling entertainment, like magicians, jugglers, organist on wheels! Boardwalk type carnival games, icecream/candy shop, stores to shop at, face painting, hair wraps, surrey bikes. It is so much fun and you can also stroll around and resort hop at YC/BC, and Swan/Dolphin.

We also like to rent larger boats like a canapy or pontoon boat. You can bring lunch on the pontoon boat and spend a nice relaxing ride. We like doing this at DtD or from one of the monorail resorts, it's a bigger area to take the boats out.

 We always enjoy going over to Fort Wilderness for awhile. If you have kiddies in tow, there are pony rides and a little petting farm, also the stables where the draft horses are kept are there. Trail's end is good for any meal of the day, and if you are going to rent watermice on the big lake you can do it right there.

Thanks.:)

I've never been to Jellyrolls (and it seems like Downtn Disney continually gets a little rmore rowdy than I like)-maybe the perfect place for one of our evenings out. And also bike rentals and canoes at FW-that's a maybe. :moped:

Love the afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian...very civilized experience during an often uncivilized day at the parks!

Riding the monorail and the different boats up to the different resorts up from different resorts/parks...

I also forgot to add the camp fire and sing a long at FW. You can toast marshmellos on an open fire pit, or make smores. They have benches and you sit and have a sing a long with Chip and Dale and a guitar player. After they play a movie on the big out door screen. We really had alot of fun doing this with the kids. The movie we saw was Freaky Friday.
