need a push for finishing a task

Last week I started stripping the wallpaper on my stairway and upstairs hallway. All the wallpaper is down and about 80% of the glue is off. Since weds, I havent even attempted to work on it. I was really gung ho, dont know what happened. Until its done my dh wont even consider looking for a new rug and banister. So please tell me to stop dising and start scraping. Thanks
