So, yes we're crazy and our fourth dog is coming home Sunday :dogdance:. My boss's dogs had puppies and we've decided we'll go for the bylaw limit of four and take one. We have somehow developed a "D" theme with the other three; Dash, Daisy and Dakota. This little one is a Pom-Chi crossed with Maltese and from the pictures he's shown me looks like a little polar bear. No, I don't have pictures of my own yet, and sadly don't know how to upload pictures but I'll get one of my kids to help me once we get him.

I am not married to a name starting with D but so far my kids are. Please...any suggestions would be GREAT! D or otherwise  I'm currently leaning to Darcy, but my daughter says that sounds like a female. I told her to read Pride and Prejudice She is stuck on Dancer. My son and husband like Diego but I think that sounds like a big dog name and this little guy will probably run around 8-10 lbs. I also liked Domino but no one else did. So now we're stuck...

Dalton. Gotta stick with then"da" theme! You can't call a dog "Darcy" without calling him Mr Darcy!

Congrats! We're adopting a puppy on Saturday and still deciding on a name as well.

For Ds, how about Darby, Dusty, Dalton, Dawson, Dallas, Dax, Deacon, Delaney, Denny, Dexter, or Donavan.

That's all I got! We landed on Dexter for a bit but kids didn't like it.

Oh, good list. Dax is a really cute one - especially with the other dogs names!

Good luck to both of you with your new family additions. :goodvibes

Deneb

Well, this puppy was born in the summer. High overhead in the night sky is the Summer Triangle made up of the stars Vega, Altair, and Deneb - a supergiant star.

I got a puppy 6 weeks ago his name is Disney. Not the one in the picture

How are thing going six weeks in? We've had three rescues and two puppies over the years and after the last puppy I said no more puppies, but here I am again preparing for 3am trips outside. I think I'd forgotten but it's coming back again...

He's great. We got him at the SPCA. He was about 7 months old when we got him. He only peed once in the house. He can be trusted to be in the house by himself with the other dog. He's has been nothing but great. I guess that age might be better than a young puppy. Housebroken, not chewing stuff up. My first couple puppies 18 years ago I woke up they were eating the wall.
