We have a 3 year old Hoover bagless vacuum and it is wonderful!!! I would recomend it! However if I buy a new one anytime soon, I think I will probably go with the Dyson... I have only heard good things about them. They are more expensive but apparently worth every penny. I have no intention of getting rid of my Hoover though... does great on the cat hair and I don't find it too messy to deal with. I just dump it straight to the garbage can outside anyway. Good luck

I wish I could say that my Hoover windtunnel is doing well. When it was 4 months old we had to take it to be repaired under the warranty as it stopped picking up anything. It was doing well until that point. A vacuum repair guy told us he thought the motor was going but Hoover said no. It was good again for 6 months and now is just marginal. I will have to get another vacuum at some point. We don't abuse it either. That's just my experience. It sounds like everyone else got a good one!

I have the Hoover Wind tunnel...and hate it! This is the 3rd machine that I have had in the last 18 months! They keep breaking down. Luckily, I purchased the warranty...so I exchange them without charge!
