Need a new credit card suggestion

I want to change my credit card to a no fee card with or without rewards. I currently have the Infinte Aeroplan from CIBC. They refuse to either lower the interest rate or discontinue the annual fee, despite the fact that I've been with them for over 13 years. If they would do one or the other I would stay with them since I do like the card otherwise.

So, now I'm shopping for a new card. I use my card only for travels, and don't carry much of a balance, if I carry one at all. I don't want a high credit limit, or an annual fee. Any suggestions? I would prefer a visa card, but mastercard would be ok too. no Amex.

We have two cards - AMEX gold - great points, great perks and insurance but a big fee
and the MBNA mastercard Smartcash - fantastic no-fee reward card. %5 back on groceries, gas and travel (I think) for the first 6 months, then after that it goes down to 3% on those catagories and 1% on everything else. They send you a cheque for $50 every month you hit the $50 mark. We use the AMEX for everything that we can but use the mastercard everywhere AMEX isn't accepted (a ton of places in Canada unfortunately).

The Smartcash card is wonderful. No playing with points or conversion rates, just cheques to cash. No fees.

If you carry a balance though it might be best to go with their super lower rate card - no points/cash but a guaranteed low rate all the time. I think it's somewhere around 8.9% but don't quote me on that. Also, if you meet their requirements you can get it as a platinum card with extra perks like insurance.
