need a little help...

my fiance is all for a honeymoon at dw. unfortunately he doesn't understand why i want to stay at one of the resort hotels. granted we are college students and don't have tons of disposable income but i mean, it's our honeymoon! we only get one! anyway, i was wondering if you all could give me some info (aka AMMO! lol) to help me convince him that it would be worth it. thanks so much!

Two of the biggest advantages are:

1. They have early entry mornings for resort guests. You get to go into one park a day an hour early and they have the most popular rides open. MK-Sun and Thur, AK-Mon and Fri, MGM-Tue and Sat, Epcot-Wed.

2. You can use Disney transportation. For us, this is a huge plus! It allows us to not have to orry about parking, paying for parking, getting lost looking for places, or if we want to have a drink, we don't have to worry.

My DH and I stayed at ASMo on our honeymoon and loved it. WE loved using Disney transport and not worrying about parking. Also from what I've seen it's cheaper/just as cheap to stay at Disney than an off site hotel.

Well for starters you won't have the same "magic" staying offsite as you would staying at one of the Disney properties. It does have its advantages. The free transportation is worth it alone. The pools at the hotels are way better than any offsite hotel. Plus it's great to start and end your day at a Disney resort.

Another reason as well as the above is that you can charge everything to your room key card. This means that we only have to carry very little cash with us for water and snacks from the carts (But I believe theses are gonna take the room key cards soon if they haven't already). It does make life a lot easier and we can see exactly what we have spent all on one bill at the end of the vacation.
