OK..we'll be there for four nights in June. We'll probably just do Epcot and Magic Kingdom this time as it is "quick trip" to try out our DVC membership and use up some frequent flyer miles. I've picked Ohana, Le Cellier, and Spoodles (maybe- although I am concerned it is out of the way). I need one more dinner idea.

Heres the thing- We don't want WCC, Chrystal Palace, LTT, Chef Mickey's, 1900 Park Fare, Boma, Coral Reef, or Biergarten as we have just done all of these recently and are looking for some different experiences. I have young children (dd1 and dd3) and we only want to use 1 TS per person per meal. Any ideas?

Also, thought about doing Arkershus for dinner (we did the PSB breakfast). Are the princesses around at dinner? What are you ideas?

Don't cha just love it when you specifically say you want one thing (only to use 1 TS credit per person) and someone gives you an answer that doesn't fit that?

We just got back and loved California Grill. It was very kid-friendly in that they had white butcher paper on the tables and provided crayons for the kids. They had goldfish as an appetizer and had a decent kid's menu. The kids loved going out on the deck to watch Wishes.

We also did the Princess Storybook lunch. I don't know the difference for dinner, but we enjoyed it. Although not as much as CG.

Just my opinion - and not even what you asked for! :)

What about the Ohana character breakfast? It has Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Goofy.

Teppanyaki? They cook right in front of you and the food is basic stir fry type but kid friendly rice and chicken (a nice change from the kids menu of chicken nuggets and junk) Also for a slightly upscale feel inside the park there is the Chefs de Paris- you can check out the menus here

Which hotel are you at? Because that would help to know which resort restaurants might be good.

How about Garden Grill for a different Character meal?

Or Alfredo's, kids might like the strolling musicians. Do they still do that? I have not been to WDW in almost 10 years so I have no idea what things are the same and what are not!

We'll be staying at SSR. I don't think the new TS restaurant is open yet. These are all good ideas...keep them coming!

I am wondering myself. We don't have children but are going with our friends and they have a 4 year old. So I am having to plan most of our meals around him. It is really making me think outside of the box! :goodvibes

I would suggest Garden Grill as well, unless you have too many Epcot meals already. The food is brought to you (not a buffet, which can be challenging with toddlers), the restaurant revolves so the kids can always look at something new, and the character intereaction is very good. Just a warning - we had to ride The Land ride many times after our Garden Grill lunch since the kids saw it as we were eating! :)

I also recommend Spoodles, which you said you might do. It was our best meal last time we went, and it was a great value on the dining plan! It is not a far way from the International Gateway, especially if you have your own stroller. Even without a stroller, my kids enjoyed the walk along the boardwalk.

bumping to see if anybosy else has any advice :bounce:
