need a good air compressor

I want to get my DH an air compressor for Father's day.... we have bought 2 from Sears and they both broke..... we need something good for camping. nothing too big...anyone have any ideas?

Haven't really used anything small. I've got a 50gal beast in the corner of my shop and a smaller 15 gal compressor on wheels in my garage. The 15 gal has been around forever and I don't recall the brand. I picked up the 50 gal at Sam's some years back on a deep discount. It had been dropped during delivery to the store and the pressure switch was busted. Didn't cost but a few bucks to fix it and it's been running for close to 10 years now.

I have a small coleman 12V compressor that really isn't good for much of anything except low pressure things like air matresses and such. It take forever to fill anything because of the tiny compressor.
