well i know i asked tooo many question but hopfully you can asnwer at least one of them tnaks sooo much in advance!!!!!:confused3

Okay, I'll answer to the best of my ability and then others can add if I leave anything out.

1. Basically, you have to trade for it. Also, the stuff you buy now will become rare in the future. It just takes patience.

2. There are five shops in VMK, the Emporium in Main Street, Small World Imports in Fantasyland, Shrunken Ned's in Adventureland, Golden Horseshoe Mercantile in Frontierland, and the Inner-Space Shop in Tomorrowland. Double-click the cash registers in each store to make a window pop up. Pay special attention to the "Specials" category, especially on weekends. Oh, and you need a special magic pin to get to the Inner-Space shop which you get by completing the Diver quest in the Captain's Quest Quarters in Tomorrowland and then the Space quest in the space deck (can't remember it's exact name at the moment). I hope that makes sense.

3. Right now, aside from the ones in the quests mentioned above (plus the driving quest in the Autopia Quest Track), you have to trade for magic. Some magics occasionally go for sale, so keep an eye out for those. Others used to be won by winning minigames, but none of them do that at the moment.

4. If you mean host games, the teleporter games are the easiest to win host prizes in, which are the closest things to rare that you can get without trading. If you mean minigames, it's all a matter of personal preference. Just not Jungle Cruise :rotfl:

5. VMK makes things untradable for various reason. The main ones are to protect people from getting scammed because people are greedy and sneaky sometimes and also because some items are too important to the overall game to just be given to you through a trade (such as the diving and space magics).

6. I wouldn't if I were you. Some of those people are honest but many of them aren't. You'll just save yourself a lot of frustration if you avoid them.

I hope I've helped some. :teeth:

1. how do get rare stuff? Well, you can trade for them, but the weekend pins and costume pieces become rare once they stop selling them.

2. where can u purcahse diffrent items? There is a shop in every land except New Orleans Square. They are Shrunken Neds ( Adventureland), It's A Small World Imports ( Fantasyland ), Emporium ( Main Street, and the Golden Horseshoe Mercantile Shop ( Frontierland ). There is also a shop in Tomorrowland, but you have to do the diving quest, car quest, and space quest to get to it.

3. how do u get magic? There are quests, like the Tomorrowland Quest, sometimes they sell them, or you could trade for them.

4. what are the best games to win stuff in? Do you mean in-game games or the games like the Finding Nemo game where you get a code?

5. why are somethings i win untradeable even if i really dont want them? I don't know why some things aren't tradeable, but you can always sell them if you don't want it.

6. should i even bother going into room that say free something? No, because sometimes they don't have anything free, and even if they do, usually it's not very good and there's a big line.

Hope that helps! Have fun playing VMK :)

Personally I found doing player quests was a good way of building my inventory when I first started. I would do quest in the evening and then check next morning to see what I had won! Really was fun and got a lot of nice stuff, most of I gave away since I was new and didn't know any better. Well actually I still like to give stuff away lol...just me! So find me and get some stuff!

 i just wanted to say a quick thank you!!!! it so much easier to talk to fellow disser get get some straight answers thank you thankyou thank you!!!!!

The Dis boards also has a great players guide near the top of this board. It is one of the sticky messages.

:cool1: Welcome to vmk! :cool1:

Don't do what I did! When I first started playing I got as many credits I could playing fireworks and pirates. I then went to the stores and started buying things up trying to build up my inventory. Needless to say, all of the stuff I bought is still for sale now! So it's pretty much useless for trading. As an earlier poster suggested, get the stuff on specials. To find the specials you have to be in the store and then give the cash register a double click! Hope this helps!

6. should i even bother going into room that say free something?

Much of the time you are wasting time, but sometimes it works out well, if you aren't expecting rare things. If you do receive something, it may be a crate, an article of clothing, etc. I would go to these rooms when I first started (7 months ago) and did occasionally receive nice things (like a karo tiki chair, which was retired). The key is to go in not expecting much, if anything, so you aren't angry or disappointed if it turns out to be nothing. Before the 'no pay to play' rule you had to watch out for those who wanted you to give them something, but now you can simply report them and move on.

To clear this up. Not all things can be sold either. There are numerous items that cannot be sold. Luckily, most items can be either traded or sold, but not all. While I don't think a newbie will be getting a quest machine anytime soon (it's 30,000 credits), I still think it's fair to warn that it cannot be traded or sold. Once a character has bought it, it's stuck with it forever.

Also, as to why some things are non-tradable, a while back someone created a way to farm codes out of some of the off-site games. This is the reason why the items from the Narnia, POTC2 (except Sparrow) and up & down waterslides are not tradable.

As Souper said, there is a players guide stickied to the top of this forum. Check that out as that is a great source of info. :)

Ah, but you never know when they will take it out of the stores....just ask people about tiki stuff, Malificient throne, haunted tree, rockets (but they are back), etc. When it goes, it goes and they don't tell you ahead of time.

thank everyone for your help i just have one last question it seems to me that each quest i see are consider difficult and i saw a a cheat for a easy but not for diffiuclt right now im doing the driver quest and im almost to the end except i cant toseen to do good in the firworks game the barely get 1,000 and that rare fo 7,ooo seems impossiable is there a way to do only medium and even easy quest?:confused3

Flip through the quests (i.e. 1 of 4, 2 of 4, 3 of 4, and 4 of 4). They aren't in order from easiest to hardest. Just be sure to look at the title of the quest. It should say "easy", "medium", "hard", etc. Do the "easy" one first. It requires the least amount of points in fireworks.

Yes, you can do just blue easy quest for drive. You do not need to do the others. I could only do the blue car easy quest - just do that one - then as you get better scores you can aim for pink, yellow and green (think that's the right order) Pink car I think needs like 3000 in fireworks - I still am lucky if I can get 2,200....lol guess I like blue drive magic only
