I haven’t been to Disney in years, and I feel overwhelmed at all the changes. I never had any issue before, but then Fast Passes were easy. Now it seems like I need to make reservations at the most popular rides, or I’ll be shut out. I suppose those would be Rise of the Resistance and Guardians...maybe the Aerosmith roller coaster ?

Is there a pinned thread or a thread anywhere that tells about and explains all the new rules?

If I’m understanding it correctly, for Rise, you can only book at 7 am for a later ride or a few hours later for the second boarding pass. This means that in order to ride Rise, you can’t hop to HS? You need to be at HS at least until you ride it? And I assume this means you can only ride it once? Unless you also by an ILL?

Does it work this way for Guardians as well? Or any other rides?

Thank you!

Yes there is a pinned thread. (Thank you for noticing there are pinned threads!!)

We created ‘Planning for your Disney Trip . start Here!’ as another resource in addition to the great suggestions above.

It is the same in that you can beat the lines..difference is you need to pay and learn a new method..OR you cam skip all that and research how to tour smartly to avoid rhe lines..no tech or purchase needed. A great place for tips is touristblog. It goes in depth for each park.Disney wants you to feel you must purchase to have a quality experience. Its just not true.

I will add and plug that you can contact the travel agency that hosts this site Dreams Unlimited Travel. They will help you create the vacation that you are looking for and book everything for you AT NO COST TO YOU. They get paid by Disney for the traffic.

Dreams hosts this site and writes all of the articles and has a several YOUTUBE channels for resources.

I always researched my Disney trip in the past, so I’m glad that doing so now can still pay off.

I like Touristblog - now I’m going to go in depth there. Thank you !

Disney fans are the best, wanting to help others have a great time
