Need a dishwasher

Ok. I was going to wait to replace my dishwasher for awhile, but, wouldn't you know the old one bites the dust.....

I need a good one that works well, but is not an arm and a leg. I have just purchased new fridge and micro and new flooring, countertops.. sigh. So didn't want to have to get the dishwasher too....

consumer reports like Kitchen Aid, Kenmore and Bosch
A big part of what you pay for with dishwashers is quiet. So you may be able to find one that cleans well -it is just louder for a cheaper price. Fridgidare dishwashers do not rate well in their reports. I have a Kenmore Elite -which I like but sometimes the little dishwasher detergent lid sticks.

How about Whirlpool? I saw a good report on a whirlpool somewhere.... I don't care much about the noise (heck, the old one was awful. I usually run it in the evening before bed). As long as it cleans well.
I saw a whirlpool at Lowe's for about 450 bucks...

The Bosch is wayyyyyyy out of my price range. The Kenmore is not something I am willing to purchase (personal decision).

Ok. That's good news. Thanks alot for checking for me. I found the one I think it is on Lowe's website for around 450....

I just bought a new LG one and really don't like it. It was a $700 one on sale for $499. It does not clean well at all!!! It is pretty quiet, but my cheaper Maytag one (was part of the recall) did a MUCH better job.
