need a different sweatshirt from TDS

I was in TDS a couple of weeks ago. They had kids sweatshirts on sale for 50% off (about $12 each). Had a debate with my mother-in-law over which one to pick for dd 4yr. I let myself be swayed and I got the pepto-bismo pink one with three princess heads floating in space on it. I have come to my senses and really want the powder blue cinderella & carriage one now.

Problem: none of the five DS in Wisconsin have them. They're all sold out (one has four 10-12 and I need a 6/6X).
Can't find them in the catalog or online....

Any solutions out there or will I be forced to keep track of my 4yr. "pink lady"?

They had plenty in the Florence, SC store Tuesday. You could call and ask if you could mail yours to exchange and send an envelope for them to mail the replacement back to you. I know that this would be cutting into the deal you got but if you've got your heart set on the Cinderella it may be worth it.

Maybe the Florence, SC store could send it to one of your local stores and you could make the exchange at the local store. Lots of stores do that. It will save on postage. With the added expense of the postage, there goes your savings.

If mailing is the only way to do it, I would just buy the blue one and keep the pink one. Then DD will have 2 for the price of one. Still a good deal!!!

Ratow, if your daughter is a big Cinderella fan, they also had quite a few of the musical rolling Cinderella duffel bags left. I bought one for my 4 yr old niece and she loves it. They were 1/2 off too.

Well, I called the store in Florence, SC and, JOY, they had many left including a 6/6X!

RATS, they won't send it to my Disney Store (or they would but still charge me shipping). So...they are sending it directly to me (FOR $6.95!!!). They wouldn't take my DC # over the phone.

They whole debacle will probably cost me $12.25 + $6.95 S&H = $19.20. Yes, I know, still less than the regular price of $24.50.

I am getting too carried away in my excitement for our first WDW trip! I would never (normally) pay $20 for a kid's sweatshirt!!! She's my last girl with no one to hand it down to.

This is called "buyer's remorse!"

But I am amazed at how quickly DIS members jumped in and helped find a solution!
