Last year, DH and I gave our teen DSs Broadway tickets to Lion King. I wrote a corney little poem and placed it in a travel guide to NYC on the page that had a Lion King sign.
Well, this year, their HS band began their halftime show with the theme song to Phantom of the Opera. (gives me goose bumps everytime!) As a Christmas gift this year, DH and I got them broadway tickets to Phantom of the Opera for the Wednesday after Christmas. It will be a blast. Of course, DH and I got ourselves a ticket too.
Anyway-I was trying to come up with a creative way to give the tickets. They are in 10th and 11th grade, so it can be a more mature idea/theme. I thought about burning the song the band played onto a CD and just letting them play it to find out what the gift is. Not too exciting though.
Any other ideas??
Thanks in advance,
Karen
