Okay, so we are going to AK on Mon, Nov 26th. I promised the nieces/nephew a character bfast. We had it all planned to do Donald's Breakfastosaurus. Well, Disney had to go and screw that all up and now Donald's Safari Bfast isn't on the ADR computer....yet. Do I wait or do I plan an alternate?

That is really the only day to do a character bfast for our schedule. I don't want to have to run around all morning just to have breakfast...any suggestions?? We will have a car but I really want to be at AK when it opens at 9am.

What hotel are you staying at?

Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary is excellent. There is also a character breakfast at the Polynesian.

Do either of these work for you?

We loved the breakfast at 1900 Park Fare. The food is MUCH better than Donald's anyway. Also there is a wide variety of characters. The day we were there it was Mary Poppins, Alice, The Mad Hatter, Tigger and Pooh.

My wife and I love the Cape May character breakfast. Our children are adults now and we still enjoy having breakfast there. The food is always very good and the atmosphere is relaxed. The character interaction is always worth watching. Goofy in a bathing suit is a sight to behold.

I'd wait. I'm sure folks here on the DIS will be buzzing about when reservations open for the Tusker House TS in plenty of time for you to know when to call. :)

I second this, Cape May is the best breakfast buffet in all of WDW....the selection of fruit is incredible

Cape May Cafe get's my vote.

are staying at SSR so nothing is really super convenient...maybe I will wait it out!

I would make ressies somewhere else as a backup and continue to check for Donald's. You don't want to wait your way out of a ressie. Don't listen to the bad reviews. We went, we are picky about quality and we loved it. Hot, fresh and a nice variety

Hey,

Lilo and Stitch at the Poly is alot of fun and the food is preety darn good too!
