need a car seat and leaving property?

We are planning on leaving DS (22 months) car seat at home since are going to use ME and did not plan on leaving property. Now after reading a trip report we want to go check out ICE at Gaylord Palms. Is there anyway to get transportation there and back w/ them having a car seat for DS? I don't want to take his because it's huge.

What is he going to sit in on the plane? We've always had our kids sit in the car seats on the plane and then brought car seat carrying bags to move them around when we were off the plane. I'm just not comfortable using anyone's seats but our own. You could even bring it and just check it...they did not charge us to check our car seat bag this last time that we used to bring our booster seats for our older kids.

We are just going to have him sit in his seat on the plane, we do not feel the car seat is necessary on the plane at his age.

You can always take a taxi. Just request that the taxi have a car seat when you call for one. You may have to wait a little while longer than normal to get a taxi with a car seat but it is possible.
