I would like to hear from people who have recently rented in Windsor Hills and specifically which houses they have rented. We would like to stay for 2 weeks in May 2009. tia!:goodvibes

We stayed at www.floridashaven.com in March 2007 for 2 weeks. We rented through the owner - Esther Kitto, and she gave us an amazing deal of $2000 for the 2 weeks including tax.

It is a 6 bedroom - a bit of a walk from the main clubhouse but you won't go there much since the pool and games room in your house are great!

I highly reccommend this home.

Thank you both. These look like what we need - especially the price! With 9 kids we only get to Disney ever 4 or 5 years and we want it to be as special as possible! Could you see the fireworks from Disney from these? I'm assuming you can from all the houses in Windsor Hills, but want to be sure! Thanks, again!:thumbsup2

You can HEAR the fireworks but given the way the land lies (pretty flat and low), and the fact that you will want a south facing pool and the park is not south, you will most likely not see them. I think if we went to an upstairs bedroom and looked out you could see the higher ones. If you go to the main road (Old Lake Wilson Road) you can see the high ones and you can even see the tree of life (Animal Kingdom is the closest park). You are VERY close to the parks!

You will need to learn how to use Sherbeth road - Sherbeth takes you right into Disney without using 192 which can be very busy. We used it ever day and you can access it from Old Lake Wilson, to Funnie Steed to Sherbeth.
