Need 30 minute weight training suggestions

I love this forum!! Very inspiring. I need to find a 30 minute weight training video with goal of increasing metabolism. Would prefer something I can use at home, using smaller dumbbells and a stretch cord. I walk treadmill for cardio but am realizing that I would have more success with weight training. Any suggestions?? Thanks.
 
Are you an ipod or iphone user? There is an App called Nike Training Club which I adore. It is free and it has a bizillion workouts all you need are handweights, jumpropes and medicine ball. You can unlock different workouts. It keeps me motivated as most workouts are 15 min, 30 or 45min.
 
Have you looked at the P90X program? A lot of the exercises on that program can be modified to a home gym. Almost every exercise can be modified based on the equipment you have.
 

I like the 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels.

I second this!! It is tough at first but it will increase your strength and help you burn fat! I've done it twice through now (and once partially a long time ago)... and have seen good results! :)
 
I know you said you want a video, but Body for Life weight training days should take no more than about 45 minutes per day. Check it out!

P90X is great but it takes a commitment of 1 to 1.5 hours a day.

Tony Horton's 10 Minute Trainer is great to get started and and only takes 10 minutes a day.

Also, Shakeology, the meal replacement shake that is INCREDIBLE comes with a 30 minute and 50 minute workout DVD when you order it. I have a friend that is borrowing mine right now and she loves it.

There's tons of options but nutrition is half of the game too. You have to eat clean, unprocessed foods to burn fat and increase muscle. Send me a PM and I can help you out with a meal plan :goodvibes
