Need 2 Breakfast recommendations & other dining advice

Staying at AKL, will do breakfast at Boma one morning. Have 2 mornings where I'm just not sure where to go. Mara food court? Possibility.

What is everyone's favs for breakfast?

Oh, trying to cut down the food budget too (I'll post my plan later when I finalize). Does $800 for a family of 5 for 6 days sound OK (2 kids 5 & 2 can split)? We will have a car so we can eat offsite as well. Planning one Cheesecake Factory lunch/dinner (never very hungry later if we eat there at 2pm). Also will do 1 in room breakfast our first night offsite in a suite with kitchen.

Another question - for the buffets, since my DD is 2 do we not pay anything for her yet can get a plate for her or does she eat off our plates?

We took my 2 year old grandaughter and had no trouble, she was free everywhere we went..although sometimes we did order her a meal from the kids menu. We only paid when we ordered her a meal from the kids menu, they gave her a plate so we could put food on it no problem.

Kona at the Polynesian and Boatwrights at POR are great choices for TS breakfasts. Fresh is a wonderful buffet at the Dolphin but there is a parking fee ($7 or $8).

You can get a plate for your toddler.

I took my dd when she was 1 and then again when she was 2. I never paid anyting for her and she got her own plates.

Don't remember the prices but we enjoyed Whispering Canyon Cafe at WL. The eggs aren't that good but the rest of the breakfast skillet we liked. And it's fun there!
